So, today is my birthday. I am officially on the other side. The big 36. Granted in my head I feel no older than say 26-27 but, the crow's feet around my eyes definitely tell the truth. I am sort of mushy about this one. I know everyone says I am still young. I know. I'm not saying I'm elderly. Just On The Other Side.
Lucky for me I don't have time to dwell on my age. I am hanging out with my best girl. And tonight she and my wonderful in-laws are taking me out for a wonderful birthday supper. Too bad my boys aren't here with me too. I miss them.
On Sunday, Mom made me my all time FAVORITE meal. Corned beef and cabbage. YUM. And I am not even Irish. Odd favorite for an Italian/German girl.
Yesterday, we did a ton of shopping at the Mall of America. We are ready for Prom.

Isn't it funny what the numbers make us feel like? I really liked 36, it sounded so good to me. I turned 38 this year, and for some reason, it hit me as OLD. Hahaha, I told my husband I just wanted to be 36 again! ;) Happy late Birthday, you are a gorgeous 36!!
