Christmas Tree is Up

Well, the tree was actually up a few days after Thanksgiving so, it has been around for a few weeks now.

While trying to take this picture, I ended up with a bunch that look like

this.
Lance thought that since I was on the floor, I MUST be there to play with him.

And then, while trying to get some pictures of the mantle, a certain little boy, kept running through my pictures. I have a whole slew like this too. Boys!

Cookie Time

Ok, so, with all of the craziness of moving and the holidays I didn't do any Christmas posts. So, I figured now is as good as time as any to start.

Our wonderful old, but not FORGOTTEN, neighbors invited us over for some cookie decorating. Plus, we wanted to get the kids together one last time before we moved.

Brandi made a ton of cookies and lots and lots of frosting. They have a great tradition that D and I got to partake in. The first cookie you decorate is your "Santa cookie" and those are then set aside so, that on Christmas Eve you can leave that special cookie out for the big guy.

The kids had the best time.

Look at all of those cookies!

Thanks Brandi for doing all of that baking. Miss you guys.

Message from Santa

This is the cutest thing. Ryan found it on the internet and sent it to D.

I wish I could get it to run on my blog. It is so cute.

D loved it.

Thanks Daddy!

Santa

Santa just happened to be able to fit into his busy schedule a stop at our local Community Center.

D asked Santa for a robot. A white one specifically. (Not sure why.)

Santa told D that he was sure he would be able to make that possible, especially since D has been such a good boy this year. Well, most days anyway.

Outside the Community Center they were giving sleigh rides.

The boys fell in love with these beautiful horses, Bunny and Prince.

The horses kept trying to nibble on D's mitten. He thought this was so funny. And Bunny really liked the smell of N's warm cider.

The Perfect Tree

Tonight, we went shopping for the Perfect Christmas Tree.

Gram and Gramps always get a real tree.

"Look how tall this one is!"

The nursery that sells the trees had 4 kittens for sale.

Sissy really liked this one. Sorry Sis, Daddy is allergic.

Hey Spidey

We picked the one that Gramps is holding.

But, N really liked this one. It was really soft.
