Turkey Lurkey

I was inspired by Lil' Ms. P over at A Mommy Talks to make this cute and easy craft. I picked up the half flower foam at Walmart and we always have a variety of feathers in our craft stash. D insisted on painting the foam brown AND blue. He definitely likes to do things his own way. My stubborn little man. I think this turned out better anyway.

I used a paper plate for the other turkey parts.

D really loved pushing the feathers in.

This is one really feathered friend.

Glue, Glue, Glue.

We are going to give this to Grammy for a centerpiece for our Thanksgiving table. Way to go D.

Very cute - those feathers are so colorful. I guess I picked the wrong cheap feathers, because mine shed so badly that I really don't want to use them in crafts anymore.

I really like that turkey! So cute. I have to try this one; hopefully we can fit it in before Thanksgiving. Thanks.
