I hate laundry the way it is and there is no way I could wash it in a sink. Good luck by the way! I have a million things on my mind as well that I should be writing down. Preschool story time is a great place to meet people. I've always enjoyed going when I can.Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00838598457024466107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4975392736681523287.post-56080676479510372032010-01-08T22:12:21.835-05:002010-01-08T22:12:21.835-05:00My heart goes out to you. That means no fridge, no stove, no washer or dryer. I thought I would go out of my mind. Things will get better. Moving is no piece of cake, it is hard and especially when you move to a totally new area and feel so isolated. You will be in my prayers.Debbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132185749852282347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4975392736681523287.post-30730856958445024292010-01-08T22:20:34.047-05:002010-01-08T22:20:34.047-05:00Oh man... I would risk the laundromat before I washed all that underwear, but yet, I don't live in a brand new place and laundromats are a little creepy. I wish I could be there to help you (well not the underwear, but I'd help with other stuff!). This is just so much and must be incredibly stressful for you. Just keep on in survival mode for a while and don't worry about anything that can wait! I'm sorry your kitchen is so tiny, it's unbelievable. I am probably not making you feel any better, but I will commiserate with you and hope things get better and easier soon. Being in a new place, helping your kids adjust, adjusting yourself, the headache of moving in the first place... I will keep you in my prayers, my friend. I've moved a lot in my life, but that was before kids. Still, I understand part of the challenge - the separation from friends, the unknowns, everything seems to take longer and require more effort. I am not sure where you are in NY, but laundromats are pretty decent alternative to hand washing in my mind. (((Hugs))) again, and I hope you'll get settled soon.Raising a Happy Childhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03531558038661679151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4975392736681523287.post-60067641235335030892010-01-09T17:31:18.425-05:002010-01-09T17:31:18.425-05:00Cindy...it will be fine! Remember, go through lots of magazines & photo galleries on-line...you will be surprised at how you make your house beautiful with inexpensive touches lke archways, neat cabinet features, mixing woods, etc. I am a worrier & stay awake a lot at night so can totally relate. You all have each other & with your wonderful personality, people will gravitate towards you & in no time you'll be surrounded with friends! I even did my diapers. Then we bought a portable washer and dryer, I loved them both.Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13502619704618235828noreply@blogger.com
